President of Chamber of Representatives of Uruguay meets forcibly displaced persons of Nagorno-Karabakh in Armenia

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS. A delegation led by President of the Chamber of Representatives of Uruguay, Ana Olivera, met with displaced families from Nagorno-Karabakh in Parakar, Armenia, the embassy of Armenia in Uruguay has said.

During the two-hour long meeting, the forcibly displaced Armenians told Olivera about how they were forced to leave their homes in NK amid the Azeri aggression. 

“First of all, I’d like to express gratitude for the warm Armenian reception,” Olivera said. “Regarding the displaced people of Nagorno-Karabakh, I have to say that their stories were very touching, as soon as I return, I will tell my colleagues and the Armenian community about what I heard.”
