YEREVAN, AUGUST 30, ARMENPRESS. At least two people have been confirmed dead after a firefighting helicopter with six on board crashed into a river in northern Portugal, reports Daily Mail.
The pilot of the chopper is said to have been rescued by a tourist boat on the Douro River, while three other crewmembers remain missing.
The aircraft is reported to be underwater after it crashed in Cambres, near the city of Lamego, and the alarm was raised around 12.30pm.
According to the source, a vast search and rescue operation was launched, and the bodies of two men who were found inside the helicopter.
