YEREVAN, AUGUST 27, ARMENPRESS. The European Heritage Days will be held September 14-15 under the Routes, Networks and Connections title.
Armenia has again joined the event.
The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport said that over 100 cultural organizations will host visitors for concerts, film screenings, educational and interactive programs, lectures and other activities.
The official opening will be held at the Areni Wine factory in Areni village.
The European Heritage Days are the most widely celebrated participatory cultural event shared by the people of Europe. The Council of Europe launched the initiative in 1985, and in 1999 was joined by the European Union to create the joint action, which has continued up to the present day.
