Armenian Defense Minister visits frontline, observes ongoing large-scale construction work

 YEREVAN, AUGUST 22, ARMENPRESS. During his visit to the N army unit, Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan toured the frontline and observed the ongoing large-scale construction work, the Defense Ministry said in a press release.

Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, Major General Karen Grigoryan, and the Commander of the military unit, Major General Garegin Poghosyan, provided a thorough presentation of the work  made so far and the plans for further actions.

"Afterwards, the Defense Minister visited the deployment site of one of the personnel on combat duty and spoke with the servicemen. Papikyan emphasized the importance of daily combat training and the continuous improvement of capabilities," the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
