Defense Minister discusses rear support issues with senior officers

YEREVAN, AUGUST 20, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan, during his visit to the N military unit of the Defense Ministry, toured the security zone of one of the battalions performing combat duty, the defense ministry has said.

The Minister observed the engineering work at the positions. Papikyan, along with high-ranking officers and the command staff of the military unit, discussed various issues related to furnishing of the border zone, the combat training of servicemen and rear support.

Commanders briefed the Defense Minister on the situation at the frontline. Minister Papikyan also inspected the large-scale work being carried out on the roads leading to the combat positions.
