Former Armenian Ambassador Vagharshak Harutyunyan visits presbytery of Armenian Diocese in Russia and New Nakhijevan

YEREVAN, AUGUST 20, ARMENPRESS. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia Vagharshak Harutyunyan, who has recently completed his diplomatic mission in the Russian Federation,  visited the presbytery of the Armenian Diocese of Russia and New Nakhijevan.

Archbishop Yezras Nersisyan highly praised Harutyunyan's efforts, thanks to which visible results have been recorded in the strengthening of the relations between the Armenian and Russian peoples.

"We are deeply grateful for the valuable cooperation and attention you have shown to the Church over the years, as well as for the efforts made to overcome challenges, emphasizing the mission of the Armenian Church in fostering community consolidation, preserving national identity  and maintaining unity in the Diaspora," said Archbishop Yezras Nersisyan.

For his part, Ambassador Harutyunyan thanked His Eminence, Archbishop Yezras Nersisyan, for the effective cooperation.
