29 Covid-19 cases reported in Armenia in the past two weeks

YEREVAN, AUGUST 17, ARMENPRESS. Specialists from the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, at a meeting chaired by First Deputy Minister of Health Lena Nanushyan, noted that the Omicron variant of COVID-19 is on the rise globally. The meeting also covered the epidemic situation in Armenia.

It is noted that while the course of the disease is not severe, the COVID-19 vaccine currently available in Armenia remains highly effective against the circulating subtypes.
