Armenia appoints new Ambassador to Russia

YEREVAN, AUGUST 15, ARMENPRESS. Gurgen Arsenyan has been appointed Ambassador of Armenia to Russia, replacing Vagharshak Harutyunyan, the President’s Office reported.

President Vahagn Khachaturyan formalized the appointment on August 15 at the advice of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Arsenyan served as Member of Parliament representing the Civil Contract faction from 2021 until his resignation in August 2024.
