Pashinyan leads consultation on state budget implementation report for first half of 2024

YEREVAN, AUGUST 13, ARMENPRESS. The Government held a consultation led by of Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, during which the report on the implementation of the state budget for the first half of 2024 was presented.

According to a readout issued by the Prime Minister's office, the Ministry of Finance presented the state budget's program indicators, current key results, and the performance of state budget revenues and capital expenditures for the first half of 2024. 

The factors contributing to economic activity, tax revenues, and the pace of exports and imports were discussed.

Subsequently, the proposed projects regarding allocations and redistributions of the state budget reserve fund were discussed and various observations and recommendations were made. Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the timely and proper implementation of the programs.

The head of the government also emphasized the need for effective implementation of tax and customs administration and noted that consistent steps should be continued in that direction.
