YEREVAN, AUGUST 5, ARMENPRESS. Armenia will not participate in the upcoming CSTO Cobalt 2024 military exercises, TASS reported citing a statement from the National Guard of Russia.
The exercises are due on Aug. 14-16 in Russia.
The list of participants doesn’t include Armenia.
Armenia has been boycotting CSTO events citing the Russian-led organization’s failure to implement its obligations towards the country. In early 2024 Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that he was freezing Armenia’s membership to the bloc.
