YEREVAN, AUGUST 2, ARMENPRESS. The Israeli government’s travel warning for its citizens includes Azerbaijan as a “potential threat”.
Meanwhile, Armenia is classified as “No Travel Threat."
The Israeli National Security Council has warned Israelis traveling abroad to exercise increased precaution following the rising tensions with Iran after the assassination of HAMAS political leader, Ismail Haniyeh, and the head of Hezbollah's strategic unit, Fuad Shukr.
“Consequently, we recommend that those planning foreign travel seriously reconsider the necessity of traveling to countries for which the travel alerts have been issued with moderate and high threat levels (level 3 or 4). In all other destinations, exercise increased precaution and make sure to act in accordance with the recommendations detailed on the National Security Council's website,” the NSC said, in part.
