Iranian President expresses readiness to negotiate with the West to ease tense relations

 YEREVAN, JULY 30, ARMENPRESS. The newly elected president of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, announced during his inauguration ceremony that he is ready to negotiate with the West to ease strained relations, reports TASS.

"We call on Western countries to understand the importance of building relations based on mutual respect and equality. We are ready to hold negotiations to resolve tensions with those states that haven’t yet recognized Iran's position in the world," said Iran’s newly elected president.
