Armenia appoints ambassador to Saudi Arabia

YEREVAN, JULY 30, ARMENPRESS. Karen Grigoryan has been appointed Armenian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, the president’s office announced Tuesday.

Grigoryan is the Armenian Ambassador to the UAE and will concurrently cover Saudi Arabia.

The appointment was formalized by President Vahagn Khachaturyan at the advice of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

In November 2023, Armenia and Saudi Arabia signed a protocol on establishing diplomatic relations.
