Armenian Ambassador meets with President of Chamber of Representatives of Uruguay

YEREVAN, JULY 30, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Ambassador to Uruguay Mariam Gevorgyan has met with Ana Olivera, the President of the Chamber of Representatives of Uruguay.

Gevorgyan and Olivera discussed “prospects of strengthening the historically friendly relations between the two countries and interparliamentary cooperation," the embassy said in a readout. 

The Ambassador stressed that Armenia “highly appreciates the Uruguayan legislative body’s unbiased stance regarding topics concerning Armenia and that the country is grateful for the united friendly attitude which is always expressed by Uruguayan parliamentarians.”
