Armenia welcomes the historic decisions taken by the EU - Mirzoyan

YEREVAN, JULY 22, ARMENPRESS. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan thanked the EU and the member states for providing support to Armenia and making the decision to start a dialogue on visa liberalization.

Following today’s decisions of EU FAC, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan welcomed the decisions: “We salute historic decisions of EU Foreign Affairs Council on providing assistance to Armenia under the European Peace Facility and opening Visa Liberalization Dialogue!

This is a very important milestone in the Armenia-EU partnership based on shared values and principles as well as the vision for stability, peace and prosperity. I sincerely thank my colleagues from the EU and the member states!” Earlier we reported, that the European Commission begins a dialogue with Armenia on visa liberalization.

This step, which is an important factor in strengthening EU-Armenia relations, begins with a decision taken at a meeting of the EU FAC on July 22.
