USAID to provide $2.4 million to Armenia for development of citizen data protection

YEREVAN, JULY 10, ARMENPRESS. Samantha Power, the Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), announced the funding of $2.4 million to aid in the development of the protection of citizens' personal data. 

"At this moment, I am announcing an additional $2.4 million in funding, which will help strengthen the legal framework to ensure that technologies develop in a way that protects citizens' personal data and guarantees their human rights," she said during the press conference.
