YEREVAN, JULY 8, ARMENPRESS. Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan Monday received the delegation of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
According to the readout issued by the foreign ministry, the parties emphasized the current high level of bilateral relations between Armenia and the Netherlands and the dynamics of political dialogue, stressing the role of inter-parliamentary diplomacy in the development of bilateral relations.
According to the source, Hovhannisyan expressed gratitude for the resolutions and motions adopted by the Parliament of the Netherlands regarding issues of priority for Armenia. It was also emphasized that Armenia highly appreciates the continuous support of the Dutch side for democratic reforms in Armenia.
It is noted that the deputy minister presented Armenia's vision for achieving sustainable peace in the South Caucasus and the "Crossroads of Peace" project developed by the Armenian government. During the meeting, the parties addressed the latest developments in the process of regulating relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as discussed the processes of delimitation and the signing of a peace treaty.
It is noted that the interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues related to the development of Armenian-Dutch relations and referred to the Armenia-EU partnership.
