Georgia expresses readiness to facilitate dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan

YEREVAN, JUNE 27, ARMENPRESS.Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili said that Tbilisi is always ready to facilitate constructive communication between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The Georgian minister announced this during a joint press conference with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, who arrived in Tbilisi on an official visit.

“We have proven more than once, and I would like to note once again, that Georgia has always been a supporter of peaceful cooperation and coexistence in the South Caucasus. We are always ready to facilitate constructive communication between the parties and take clear steps towards mutually beneficial cooperation,” Darchiashvili said.

The Georgian Foreign Minister also added that during the meeting, the ministers discussed cooperation between the two countries, as well as the trilateral Georgia-Azerbaijan-Turkey format and emphasized the importance of regional energy projects.
