Turkey welcomes Armenia’s decision to recognize the State of Palestine

YEREVAN, JUNE 21, ARMENPRESS. Turkish Foreign Ministry has welcomed Armenia's decision to recognize the State of Palestine.

"We are pleased that Armenia, following such countries as Spain, Ireland, Norway and Slovenia, has decided to recognize the State of Palestine. As we have noted before, the recognition of Palestine is the requirement of international law, justice and conscience,” the Turkish Foreign Ministry said, noting that Turkey will continue its efforts for more countries to recognize Palestine.
