YEREVAN, MAY 28, ARMENPRESS. On the occasion of the Republic Day, the highest leadership of Armenia visited the Sardarapat memorial complex and paid tribute to the heroes of the Sardarapat battle.
With the participation of President VahagnKhachaturyan, Prime Minister NikolPashinyan, Speaker of the National Assembly AlenSimonyan, and representatives from the legislative, executive, and judiciary branches, a solemn event dedicated to Republic Day was held at the Sardarapat Memorial Complex.
At the beginning of the event, NikolPashinyan had a speech, which was followed by a solemn military parade.
After the military parade, VahagnKhachaturyan, NikolPashinyan and AlenSimonyan laid a wreath at the monument commemorating the heroes of the Sardarapat battle and paid tribute to their memory.
