Prime Minister reveals conditions for Armenia's mutual withdrawal of interstate lawsuits against Azerbaijan

YEREVAN, MARCH 20, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan explained the circumstances under which Armenia will mutually withdraw the interstate lawsuits filed against Azerbaijan in international courts.

During a question-and-answer session with members of the government in the National Assembly, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that they are ready to mutually withdraw the lawsuits from international courts if the Armenian side is convinced that a stable and lasting peace is established.

''We have stated that if the peace treaty is fully ready to be signed and the Republic of Armenia considers itself that is ready to sign this treaty, and if there is such a topic that requires mutual withdrawal of legal cases from international courts, then it can be discussed, and it may even be considered logical.

"If we see that a stable and lasting peace is not achieved, it is clear that we will not abandon this tool," said Pashinyan, adding that no decision has been made on this issue yet.
