Putin says Russia has no plans to deploy nuclear weapons in space

YEREVAN, MARCH 1, ARMENPRESS. Russian President Vladimir Putin told the Security Council that Moscow has no plans to deploy nuclear weapons in space, TASS news agency reports.

“We have already discussed with you the rumors that some Western figures are spreading about our alleged plans to deploy nuclear weapons in space. I say “alleged” because, as I have already said, and as we know very well, we do not have such plans,” Putin said.
