Russia intends to continue necessary efforts for establishing sustainable and lasting peace in the region – embassy

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS. Russia intends to continue all necessary efforts for establishing sustainable and lasting peace in the region on the basis of the existing trilateral agreements between the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan of 2020-2022, the Russian Embassy in Armenia said in a statement on Wednesday.

“On the commemoration day of the beginning of the tragic events of 2020, we mourn the victims together with the Armenian people, we express condolences to their families and wish speedy recovery to all the injured,” the embassy said, adding that Russia, including its peacekeeping mission in Nagorno-Karabakh, is focused on the urgent humanitarian issues of the Armenian population of NK.
