Nagorno-Karabakh reports sharp decrease in intensity of hostilities – PM

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 20, ARMENPRESS. The intensity of hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh has sharply decreased, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said Wednesday citing latest information received from Nagorno-Karabakh.

“The latest information that we were able to receive from Nagorno-Karabakh is the following, that the intensity of the military actions has sharply decreased. I can’t say that it has gone down to zero, but it has sharply decreased,” Pashinyan said.

PM Pashinyan expressed hope that the military escalation will not continue and attached importance to stability and end to hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Azerbaijan on September 19 launched a large-scale attack on Nagorno-Karabakh, bombarding and sending troops from various directions of the line of contact. Civilian infrastructures are being hit. The attack has caused multiple casualties, including among the civilian population.
