Azerbaijan again falsely accuses Nagorno-Karabakh of entrenching in Askeran

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 16, ARMENPRESS. The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has again spread fake news claiming to have prevented the Nagorno-Karabakh’s Defense Army from entrenching in Askeran.

In a statement, the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Ministry said that the Defense Army did not conduct any such activities and that the Azeri accusations were disinformation.

“The statement released by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry claiming that on September 16, around 13:00, the Defense Army detachments conducted fortification work in the Askeran region, which was allegedly thwarted by the actions of the Azerbaijani detachments, is yet another disinformation,” the defense ministry said.
