Azerbaijan falsely accuses Nagorno-Karabakh of conducting fortification works

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS. Azerbaijan has spread fake news claiming to have thwarted alleged fortification attempts by the Defense Army of Nagorno-Karabakh in the Askeran region, the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) Defense Ministry has said.

In a statement, the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Ministry said that its military did not carry out any fortification works and the Azerbaijani accusations were ‘yet another disinformation’.

“The statement released by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry claiming that in between 19:05 – 19:25, September 14, the Artsakh Defense Army units conducted fortification works in the Askeran region, which were allegedly thwarted by the actions of the Azerbaijani units, is yet another disinformation,” the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Ministry said.
