YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS. Moscow is concerned over the ongoing tension in Nagorno-Karabakh and continues maintaining contacts with Armenia and Azerbaijan, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has said.
TASS news agency cited Peskov as calling upon both Armenia and Azerbaijan to display restraint.
“Of course, we are concerned that the tension isn’t reducing and even tends to increase in some parts. Regardless of anything, Russia remains a reliable guarantor of security. We continue our contacts with both Yerevan and Baku, and of course we are calling on the two parties to display restraint and act in the spirit of the trilateral documents signed three years ago, of course by taking into account the new realities that have emerged since then,” TASS quoted Peskov as saying.
