In ongoing disinformation campaign, Azerbaijan again falsely accuses Armenia of border shooting

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 8, ARMENPRESS. The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has again falsely accused the Armenian military of opening gunfire across the border, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia warned Friday.

It said that Azerbaijan continues its disinformation campaign.

“The statement of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan as if on September 8, between 13:35 and 13:45, the units of the Armenian Armed Forces opened fire against the Azerbaijani combat positions in the southwestern part of the border, does not correspond to reality,” the Armenian defense ministry said in a statement.
