Azerbaijan violates ceasefire in Nagorno Karabakh

YEREVAN, JULY 5, ARMENPRESS. The Azerbaijani military breached the Nagorno Karabakh ceasefire on July 4-5 and opened gunfire in the direction of the Shushi and Martakert regions, the Ministry of Defense of Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) said in a statement on Wednesday.

The Azerbaijani military opened small arms fire in the abovementioned directions from 18:55, July 4 until 00:10, July 5.

Nagorno Karabakh did not suffer casualties.

The Nagorno Karabakh authorities said they reported the incident to the Russian peacekeepers.

As of 09:30, July 5 the situation on the line of contact was relatively stable.
