Iran joins Shanghai Cooperation Organization

YEREVAN, JULY 4, ARMENPRESS. Iranjoined the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) during the organization’s summit on July 4.

Iran’s membership was announced byIndia’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he chaired the SCO leaders’ virtual summit.

The meeting was attended by China’s President Xi Jinping and Russia’s Vladimir Putin, among others.
