France Team Director Arnaud Ferrari praises 'very beautiful, Olympic-standard' organization of Yerevan EWF championships

YEREVAN, APRIL 19, ARMENPRESS. French Weightlifting Federation representative Arnaud Ferrari has praised the “very warm” welcome and “very beautiful, Olympic-standard” organization of the 2023 EWF European Weightlifting Championships in Yerevan.
“We are very happy to be here, because Armenia is a very famous country of weightlifting, and it was the first time that we are here, so we are very happy,” Ferrari told ARMENPRESS. “Because in Armenia weightlifting is the sport number one, and here the welcome is very warm and organization is very beautiful, Olympic-standard. We are very happy to be here," he added.
Arnaud Ferrari, the Team Director of France at the 2023 European Weightlifting Championships, added that the French delegation is happy to discover the country during the visit.
He also spoke about the warm relations between Armenia and France, mentioning Armenian weightlifter Khachatur Kyapanaktsyan who represented France in the past.
