Lyon Mayor Grégory Doucet visits Erebuni Fortress

YEREVAN, APRIL 11, ARMENPRESS. The delegation headed by the Lyon Mayor Grégory Doucet visited Erebuni Fortress.

As ARMENPRESS was informed from Yerevan City Hall, accompanied by the director of the historical-archaeological reserve-museum Mikael Badalyan, Grégory Doucet toured the territory of the fortress and got acquainted with the history of the ancient site.

"Within the framework of friendly and business relations formed between the two countries and cities, Armenian and French archaeologists jointly implement a number of projects aimed at the restoration of historical sites and archaeological excavations. With the support of the French Embassy in Armenia, the National Institute of French Heritage and the Louvre, it is planned to completely re-present the exhibits of "Erebuni" museum," the press release says.
