Moscow supports the normalization of relations between Yerevan and Ankara. Lavrov

YEREVAN, APRIL 7, ARMENPRESS. Moscow supports the normalization of relations between Yerevan and Ankara, ARMENPRESS informs Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov said during a joint press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.

"We welcome the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey, which started with our support. We welcome efforts to unblock transport links and communications. Of course, we welcome the post-conflict reconstruction of the South Caucasus," Lavrov said.

The Russian Foreign Minister insisted that trilateral agreements were reached between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia on all issues, which still remain the basis of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

"We hope that our non-regional partners will not interfere in this process, but will push the parties to strictly implement the trilateral agreements," he emphasized.
