Azerbaijani president, special representative of Russia discuss the course of negotiations between Armenia, Azerbaijan

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 14, ARMENPRESS. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and special representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Russian Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Igor Khovayev discussed the progress of negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the work on the peace treaty, ARMENPRESS was informed from Azerbaijani media.

According to the source, Khovaev informed the President of Azerbaijan about his visit to the region, the steps taken by Russia to support the negotiation process for the preparation of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Earlier, Igor Khovaev visited Armenia. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed with Khovaev the humanitarian crisis created in Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of Azerbaijan's illegal blockade of the Lachin Corridor and the steps to overcome it.
