YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 10, ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan visited the Embassy of Syria to express condolences on the devastating earthquake which killed thousands and caused major destructions.
President Khachaturyan signed the condolence book at the embassy.
“I am conveying my sincerewords of sorrow and support to the friendly people of Syria, and I wish resilience to the families of the victims, and swift recovery to those injured,” the President wrote in the condolence book, according to a press release issued by his office.
The President then talked to the Ambassador of Syria to Armenia Nora Arissian.
