Other countries can contribute to regional security: Iranian ambassador on deployment of EU civilian mission

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 9, ARMENPRESS. Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Abbas Badakhshan Zohouri commented on the deployment of an EU civilian monitoring mission to the Armenian-Azerbaijani border from the Armenian side.

The Ambassador spoke about the topic at the Armenia-Iran Relations in Context of Common Interests forum.

In response to a question from a reporter, the ambassador said: “Other countries can bring their contribution in terms of ensuring security and peace in the region.”

The Iranian ambassador added that solving issues with participation of regional countries can ensure security, peace which will be based on dialogue and discussions.
