Syria earthquake death toll reaches 326

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 6, ARMENPRESS. Syria’s death toll in the earthquake climbed to 326, and more than 1000 people are injured, TASS news agency reported citing the Syrian health ministry.

“1042 injured, 326 dead in Aleppo, Latakia, Hama and Tartus provinces,” the ministry said.

The 7,4-magnitude earthquake struck at 4.17am local time (1.17am GMT) at a depth of about 17.9km (11 miles) near theTurkishcity of Gaziantep.
