Armenia to launch new $18,000,000 national venture capital fund

YEREVAN, JANUARY 18, ARMENPRESS. The launch of a new national venture capital fund will be announced soon, Minister of High-Tech Industry Robert Khachatryan told ARMENPRESS.

He said the size of the fund will be $18,000,000, of which $9,000,000 will be invested by the state.

Khachatryan added that they will focus on funding Armenian companies.

He added that they plan to increase the fund’s size soon.
