French National Assembly President visits Armenian Genocide memorial in Yerevan

YEREVAN, JANUARY 13, ARMENPRESS. President of the National Assembly of France Yaël Braun-Pivet visited the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial in Yerevan to pay tribute to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims.

Yaël Braun-Pivet was accompanied by Speaker of Parliament of Armenia Alen Simonyan. They laid flowers at the Eternal Flame.

President of the National Assembly of France Yaël Braun-Pivet and her parliamentary delegation arrived in Armenia on January 12.

Yaël Braun-Pivet's delegation to Armenia includes Vice President of the National Assembly of France Valerie Rabault, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs Jean-Louis Bourlanges, Member of Parliament Anne Genetet (representing the Eleventh constituency for French residents overseas) and Member of Parliament Anne-Laurence Petel (representing the 14th district of Bouches-du-Rhône).
