OHCHR calls on Armenia and Azerbaijan to resolve the Lachin Corridor issue through dialogue
YEREVAN, DECEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS. The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights calls on Armenia and Azerbaijan to resolve the Lachin Corridor issue through dialogue, ARMENPRESS reports the Twitter page of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights said. "We call on the parties to resolve pending issues through dialogue, urgently ensure free and safe movement, protect people's rights and avoid adverse humanitarian impact on the civilian population," says the statement of the OHCHR. From December 12 until now, Azerbaijan continues to keep the only highway connecting Artsakh to the world, the Lachin Corridor, closed, citing false environmental reasons.
