YEREVAN, DECEMBER 9, ARMENPRESS. The trade turnover between Armenia and the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) comprised more than 3 billion dollars in January-September 2022. The growth compared to the same period of 2021 is around 80%, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during the session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Bishkek.
Before touching upon the issues on the agenda of the session, the Armenian PM stated that in recent years the economic development of the EAEU states is taking place in not so easy conditions.
“The current situation, of course, affects the main economic indicators of all member states of the Union, and at this difficult moment for all of us we need to concentrate our efforts in order to raise the Eurasian integration engagement to maximum, taking into account the national priorities of the socio-economic development.
Despite the current situation, I want to praise the fact that there is a growth tendency in the mutual trade. The trade turnover between Armenia and the EAEU states comprised more than 3 billion dollars in January-September of this year and increased by around 80% compared to the same period of 2021”, PM Pashinyan said.
