FIFA World Cup 2022: Iran beats Wales 2:0

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS. Two goals by Iran in the last moments of the match shocked a short-handed Wales, 2-0, at the FIFA World Cup on Friday in Qatar.

A strike by Roozbeh Cheshmi (90+7:56) gave Iran the lead eight minutes to added time, and another by Ramin Rezaeian (90+10:37) sealed the victory.

Iran scored the net after Wales goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey was given a red card in the 86th minute.
