CSTO has necessary resources to help solve situation on Tajik-Kyrgyz border – Secretary General

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 23, ARMENPRESS. CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas says the Organization has necessary resources to help solve the situation on the border between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, if the two countries consider it necessary.

“In the Central Asia region we attach a special importance to the further settlement of the situation on the Tajik-Kyrgyz border”, Zas said during the joint session of the CSTO Foreign, Defense Ministers and Secretaries of the Security Councils in Yerevan. “We believe that the CSTO has necessary resources and experience to help our two countries to achieve that goal”, he added.

Mr. Zas stated that the CSTO can provide help if Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan consider it necessary.
