Economic growth accelerates in Armenia. Babken Tunyan

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 22, ARMENPRESS. Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Babken Tunyan, MP of the National Assembly "Civil Contract" faction, citing the data of the Statistical Service, wrote on his Facebook page that the economic growth has accelerated.

"In the 3rd quarter of 2022, compared to the same quarter of the previous year, Armenia's GDP increased by 14.8%. The growth accelerated during the year. in the first quarter it was 8.7%, in the second - 13%. In the third quarter, the construction sector grew the fastest - by 19.9%. The trade and services sector grew by 19.1%, industry - by 11.1%. The volume of agricultural products decreased by 0.1% during the reporting period, ARMENPRESS reports, Babken Tunyan wrote.
