YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 10, ARMENPRESS. Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan received the delegation led by First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots of the Russian Federal Assembly State Duma Kazbek Taysayev,the deputy PM’s Office said.
Welcoming the guests in Armenia, deputy PM Grigoryan highlighted the ongoing activities aimed at consistently developing the relations with Russia, including thanks to the cooperation of legislative bodies.
The deputy PM presented the current situation resulting from the latest large-scale Azerbaijani aggression against the sovereign territory of Armenia, emphasizing the necessity of the withdrawal of Azerbaijani troops from Armenia’s sovereign territory and unconditional observance of the ceasefire regime.
The relevant issues of the bilateral cooperation agenda in economy, culture and other fields of mutual interest were also discussed. The sides praised the major growth registered in mutual trade this year.
The cooperation in multilateral format was also discussed. In particular, views were exchanged on ongoing projects and initiatives within CIS and EAEU.
