YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 3, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s 2023 state budget envisages allocating 22 billion drams to the provinces for implementing the subvention programs, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during the Cabinet meeting today.

“Compared to 2018, we are increasing the volume of funding for subvention programs tenfold. In 2018 we allocated 2.5 billion drams, in 2019 – 6.4 billion drams, in 2020 – 14 billion drams, in 2021 – 12.3 billion drams and in 2022 – 18 billion drams”, the PM said.

He stated that in the past 4 years 100 million USD investments have been made in the provinces.

“We need to maximally develop this tool and make it maximally effective”, the PM said.

The aforementioned program applications are mainly directed to capital investments in communities.
