Gegharkunik Governor briefs EU monitors on consequences of latest Azerbaijani aggression

GAVAR, NOVEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS. Governor of Armenia’s Gegharkunik province Karen Sargsyan received the EU Monitoring Team led by leader Linn Nettelvik, his Office said.

The Governor briefed the EU monitors on the current situation in the settlements affected by the latest Azerbaijani aggression, the Azerbaijani atrocities, as well as showed photos of damaged houses and buildings.

The Governor informed that the government has provided support for the renovation of the damaged houses, and as for the 8 houses that were totally destroyed by the Azerbaijani bombardment, the government will solve it by constructing new ones.

The meeting sides also discussed the risks existing in the province, the psychological support to be provided to the displaced persons and school-children and other topics.
