Vice Speaker of Parliament introduces MEPs on position of Armenian side regarding peaceful settlement of NK conflict

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 1, ARMENPRESS. Vice Speaker of Parliament of Armenia Ruben Rubinyan received today members of European Parliament, the Parliament’s press service said.

The Vice Speaker thanked the partners of the European Parliament for supporting Armenia.

He briefed the MEPs on the latest large-scale Azerbaijani aggression against the sovereign territory of Armenia.

Touching upon the regional situation, he presented the position of the Armenian side regarding the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

Ruben Rubinyan also emphasized that the Armenian historical-cultural and religious heritage in the territories that have come under the control of Azerbaijan is also endangered. The imperative of the immediate return of Armenian prisoners of war was also emphasized.

The meeting sides attached importance to the establishment of stability and democracy in the entire region.
