Georgia continues supporting peaceful settlement process between Armenia and Azerbaijan – PM

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 24, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister of GeorgiaIrakli Garibashvilisaid today that the Georgian government continues supporting the peaceful settlement process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

“We have discussed the situation in the region and touched upon the latest agreement on starting a peaceful negotiated process between Armenia and Azerbaijan”, the Georgian PM said following the meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Tbilisi. “This, of course, inspires us hope. Georgia, I and our government announce that we are fully ready to continue the peace policy that we have started together. I also want to emphasize that the initiative of peaceful neighborhood does not contradict or replace any other cooperation format. Quite the contrary, it will help, and I believe that we will do very important works together”, he added.
