Next meeting of Eurasian Intergovernmental Council to be held in Almaty, Kazakhstan

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 21, ARMENPRESS. The next session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will be held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, in February 2023.

The decision was adopted today during the extended-format session of the Council in Yerevan.

During the meeting the heads of government of EAEU member states signed a number of documents based on the results of the session.

The sides discussed also a number of issues on agenda, in particular, the 2027 EAEU integrated information system development targeted program, the main directions of industrial cooperation within the Union, the actions taken in 2021 to form a single market of gas, oil and oil products. The Council also discussed the mutual trade between the Union’s member states, the joint projects in the replacement of import, the first package of EAEU measures within the climate agenda, etc.
